QA (Automation) Engineer

HELLO fellow QA (Automation) Engineer

We are looking to expand our team of highly skilled professionals in our offices in Sarajevo and Mostar and we are glad you're interested in becoming our new Mistral fellow. As a QA (Automation) Engineer, you will draw on your testing knowledge and creativity to automate test capabilities and design test and maintenance procedures. You will also tap our existing test frameworks to tackle specific problems.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Can design and develop testing scenarios and procedures
  • Can develop automated testing scripts and code modules
  • Can identify, analyze, document, track defects and determine their priority
  • Can quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repair of existing test scenarios and scripts
  • Can conduct manual regression testing for different devices and screen resolutions (laptops, external monitors, mobile and tablet devices)
  • Can provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
  • Can collaborate with customers to diagnose problems and recommend solutions
  • Can prepare automated test suite to be part of Continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines while working closely with DevOps team
  • Intermediate knowledge of version control system and branching strategies for managing test repositories
  • Advanced knowledge of web and mobile application testing
  • Advanced knowledge of API, service level automation and database testing
  • Advanced knowledge of automated and performance testing tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Protractor, and SoapUI
 
YOU ARE ALSO SOMEONE WHO

  • Can work and produce professional level with no direct supervision
  • Has advanced knowledge of at least one technology stack
  • Has a solid knowledge of computer science and engineering, and interest in learning various top trending technologies used throughout the industry
  • Has been involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, documenting, and support
  • Can work closely and interact professionally with a diverse group of clients, and staff members
  • Can review, analyze, and repair legacy test automation software, with assistance and supervision
  • Can write technical documentation, proposals, blog posts, and white papers, with support and supervision
