Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software run by DigitalOcean in partnership with GitHub and Twilio. It is open to everyone in the global community.
During this month, if you submit five quality pull requests to public GitHub repositories, you win an award. So sweet.
In this spirit, we’ve spent one whole day talking about open source software. Very smart people with a great sense of humor from all over BiH came. You can already assume it went great.
(If you’re not a fan of reading, we also have a fantastic video of the event, thank you Bookvar)
This Hacktoberfest Meetup was the second one in a row, and we sense it is definitely happening next year as well. What happened when we hang out offline is that new friendships were formed, new project ideas born and experience shared.
This is what the agenda was like
Adnan Rahić, the moderator and host, also known as a karaoki rising star (and an epic DevOps) gave a wonderful introduction. Adnan Kičin, also one of the hosts and organizers, took a role of a photographer and made sure nobody was left undocumented digitally. Finally, Adnan Karišić, Mistral’s finest, help the other 2 Adnan’s organize the whole thing.
And so it began..
