We don’t overthink too much in this area. We have so many reasons to celebrate, and so many topics to talk about that not one week can pass without some kind of Mistral event. One could say that our frequent get-togethers are the main reason our size never trumps our “wolf pack” spirit.
External events
This is how we classify all events open to the external audience. We always promote such events through social media channels and invite all interested to register prior to attending. This type of event is a little less frequent but definitely worthwhile. If you have an idea for an event or meetup, we’re also up for co-hosting, so don’t be a stranger. Drop us a line via the Contact page.

FuckUp Nights Mostar with our CEO Mersed
09
February
Wednesday, 7PM
Not a single success story is complete without the ‘behind the scenes’ stories of failure. As someone who envisioned and created Mistral a decade ago, together with his co-founder Sanin, our CEO Mersed had his fair share of triumphant moments, but tough ones as well. And you know what’s the best part? His honesty about it all. He insists on transparency, open conversations, and authenticity in all life spheres. Who better to tell a tale of the importance of not fearing failure at Fuckup Nights Mostar than the man himself? Bravo to the organizing team Intera Technology Park for creating spaces of important stories and inspiring speakers.

The Road to Cybersecurity with Jasmin Azemović
15
September
Wednesday, 6PM
Are you ready for the Programmers’ Day celebration in Mostar with a very cool session? Then, keep on reading.
It’s becoming clear that problems surrounding cyber security are increasing exponentially. Since security itself is layered, an ad hoc approach to mitigation isn’t a solution. Remote work and all that comes with it are becoming a standard, which presents a new strategic and operational challenge, especially when it comes to security. The aim of the session “The Road to Cybersecurity” by our very own Chief Information Security Officer Jasmin Azemović is to introduce you to the real-world problems that come along with digital transformation and the consequences that stem from it. Jasmin will provide you with guidance on how to tackle these threats.

Race for the Cure is the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer worldwide. The funds raised last year in BiH were used to purchase a “First aid” kit for 1,400 women from all over BiH, provided 1,000 free mammograms for women without healthcare, and those living in rural areas.
This year, the race will be virtual, and the intent is to raise the biggest amount of money so far. Let’s join Nela Hasić, representative of Race for the Cure BiH, true superwoman and a life long activist, to hear more about this year’s plans. We will take a look at all the things this platform did for women all over BiH and create our own fundraising race #TeamMistral!
